VOUCHER REDEMPTION TERMS

1. General Provisions
1.1. These Voucher Redemption Terms govern the use (redemption) of electronic gift vouchers issued by The Cartel at its premises.
1.2. The issuer of the vouchers and entity responsible for redemption is:

(hereinafter: "The Cartel" or "Merchant")
1.3. Rules for purchasing vouchers are set out in a separate document — the Voucher Sales Terms available at thecartel.retiva.io.
1.4. Redeeming a voucher constitutes acceptance of these Redemption Terms.
2. What is a Voucher
2.1. A The Cartel voucher is an electronic monetary gift voucher entitling the holder to one or more redemptions at The Cartel premises, up to its face value.
2.2. The voucher may only be used to purchase products and services available in The Cartel's offer at the time of redemption.
2.3. The voucher is not:
a means of payment within the meaning of applicable law (it is not a payment card, e-money, or currency);
redeemable for cash — The Cartel will not return the difference if the order value is less than the voucher value, except as provided in Section 5;
eligible for commercial resale without The Cartel's consent.
3. Voucher Validity
3.1. The voucher is valid for the period stated in the purchase confirmation e-mail (standardly 12 months from the date of purchase).
3.2. Upon expiry, the voucher lapses and cannot be redeemed. The Cartel is not obliged to extend the validity period.
3.3. In particularly justified circumstances, The Cartel may — once and at its sole discretion — extend the validity period. Requests must be submitted before expiry to thecartelktw@gmail.com.
4. Redemption Rules
4.1. Vouchers may only be redeemed at The Cartel premises listed at thecartel.retiva.io.
4.2. To redeem a voucher, the holder should:
inform staff of the intention to use a voucher before placing an order;
present the voucher code (on a device screen or printout) or provide it verbally to staff;
wait for staff to verify the code in the Retiva.io system.
4.3. A voucher may be redeemed in full in one visit or partially across multiple visits, until the full face value is used.
4.4. After a partial redemption, the remaining balance is automatically retained in the system and available for use in future visits within the validity period.
4.5. Vouchers cannot be combined with other The Cartel promotions, discounts, or coupons unless The Cartel explicitly states otherwise.
4.6. The Cartel reserves the right to refuse redemption if there is reasonable suspicion that the voucher originates from an unauthorised source, has been forged, or is being used contrary to these Terms.
5. Voucher Value vs. Order Value
5.1. If the order value exceeds the voucher value, the holder is required to pay the difference by any payment method accepted by The Cartel.
5.2. If the order value is less than the voucher value, the remaining balance is retained for future visits (within the validity period). The Cartel does not issue cash change.
5.3. One voucher may be combined with other The Cartel vouchers within a single order, where the system permits and staff confirms this is possible.
6. Lost or Stolen Vouchers
6.1. The voucher holder is responsible for keeping the voucher secure. The Cartel is not liable for vouchers that are lost, stolen, or passed to third parties.
6.2. The Cartel does not block lost or stolen vouchers and does not issue replacements, unless the holder can prove ownership. The decision to issue a replacement lies solely with The Cartel.
7. Redemption Complaints
7.1. Complaints relating to voucher redemption should be raised with staff or submitted in writing to thecartelktw@gmail.com.
7.2. The Cartel will respond to complaints within 14 calendar days of receipt.
8. Final Provisions
8.1. The Cartel reserves the right to amend these Terms. Amendments take effect upon publication of the updated version at thecartel.retiva.io.
8.2. Vouchers purchased before an amendment takes effect remain subject to the Terms in force at the time of purchase.
8.3. Matters not covered herein are governed by Polish law.
8.4. These Terms are effective as of 6 May 2026.
